I learned today in tech class about the first and most simple program for our robotic cars. We also looked at the features and things you could do with your robot. For example, if you turn the robot's motors 180 degrees then program it to do something, it will spin.

I learned allot about the rcx robots for example i learned that it has 5 different programs. Also that you can make 5 different things on each robot each on a different program. I hope we can make more lego robot experiments in the near future

Today, I learned that a robot can be programed to go forward. I learned that if you turn the wires around 180 degrees, it will not know what to do and will start spinning around. Finally, I learned that a robot has 5 program settings. my question is: What other things can you program the robot to do?

Something a robot could probably do is pick up something using a little crane type structure, and also it can use its sensors which could be able to find the object.

Today in class we learned how to make the robot (RCX) run. We learned about how programming it and switching the wires make the robot do different things like spin in circles instead of just going straight like it's supposed to. I'm excited to see what other things the robot can do.

What I learned in technology today is what the first program makes the robot do, and how you can affect your robots movement by just changing the wires. And some of its features.

I learned that the RCX is programmed to move straight, and when the wires are moved 90-180 degrees it either turns slightly while moving straight or it turns 360 degrees. Also, I learned that the robot has 5 programs and when you move past the fifth program it takes you back to program 1.

Today I learned many things about a robot in this case our robot. For example I learned how to move it forward. I also learned how to make it spin around. Lastly, I learned how to turn it 180 degrees. My question is how is it programed to do these things.

Today I learned that the robot has 5 different programs. Also that if you turn the motor wires the robot will do something else. For example it will start spinning in circles. I learned where the ON/OFF button is and where the RUN button is. I wonder how we program the robot the robot on the computer.

The three things that i learned about the robot is that they are really fragile. Also that when you move a wire to a different spot the robot does something different. Lastly i know that the robot senses things when you program it do do something.

Today in class we were learning how to use the program for the RCX it was really fun making my robot drive around and stuff. I'm so tempted to race someone and see what the RCX can really do. I could play around with this thing all day I would love to have one coolest thing ever cant wait for next class LOL #firsttime

Something that i learned about RCX today is that it has already been programmed and that the setting of certain wires on the robot affect what movement the robot makes when activated. One question that i have about the RCX is that is there a limit to how long a certain program maybe?

What I have learned today about my robot is that whenever I turn the wires from port A or port C the robot starts acting up and does something differently than what it was programed to do. I also learned that whenever it is turned on or used somehow it tracks the number of times on a screen display. Also, when I press the Prgm button (Which I have also learned stands for program) there are 5 different stored memory slots that the robot can move. My one question is connecting to the idea of robots - will someone one day build a robot that is fully functional on its own and does not need a button to work...

Today in computer class I learned that when you change a wire on a robot it will go on a different direction then before. This is because every wire is programed to do a specific thing and if one wire moves the robot changes. For example if all the wires are facing the same direction the robot will most likely go forward. If one of the wires is facing at a 180 degree angle the robot might go in circles.

I learned from RCX today, that the robot is programed to do certain things such as moving forward. I also learned that if you twist the robots motor wire in 180 degrees, it will go around in circles (a 180 degrees movement).

One thing I learned today is that the robot was programed to move forward and it did just that. The second thing I learned today was that prgm on the robot meant program. And the last thing I learned today was that the robot had 5 program slots. My question is that does the robot have some sort of battery of some kind or are the wires in the robot connecting and making the electricity for the robot to run?

I learn that if you turn the motor in different angle it will go in different direction. If you turn it 180 degree it will go in circle backward. Every motor angel does a different thing. Each program has different thing it suppose to do.

I learned that when you program the robot there's 5 programs. Another thing I learned is that when you press run the robot moves forward. The last thing I learned is that if you move the wires that control the motors the robot will act up and spin around.

three things I learned about the robot today in class, is that if the wires on your robot are on wrong, it won't do the desired command. Another thing I learned about the robot, is that if you press the 'run' button, it will go straight forward. The last thing i learned today, was that the robot has five program slots.

one thing I learned about the RCX is that it has to be programed to work. Another thing I learned about the RCX is that if you disconnect the wire and plug it in somewhere else it wont obey its command. The final thing I learned about the robot is that the RCX has five different commands one of them is to move forward and another is to spin in circles

One thing I learned today is that the robot has 5 programs which means you can teach it to do 5 tricks. Another thing I learned today was that if you press run and you are on program one the robot will move straight forward. A third thing I learned today is that the robot can be programmed to spin ,move straight, and can sense walls and blue tape from the video . My question is What will happen if I press view ?

I learned that the RCX can be programed without using the program from the computers to program it to move.It can go to 1-5 different ways.I also learned that if you move the motors A and C it will go in a different direction. The RCX can move around in a 360 rotation or can move slightly towards the left or right even backwards.

I learned that the RCX can be programed five different ways. Also, the RCX does not do what you always want it to do. So you have to fix the wires in order for you to program the robot what to do. As well as sensors all over the magnet to sense the objects around it. So the behavior will be better than it was when the robot wasn't programed correctly. Also, the robot uses senses just like humans. Such as touch. Thats what makes it a robot. A robot is technology that does human work for them.

I learned in Technology class today that the robot, also know as RCX, has 5 different programs that make it move in different ways. For example one program may make the robot move forward while another program may make the robot turn left.

I learned that a robot will act differently due to the programing. For example, you could do the same thing to two different robots and depending on the programer, it may act differently. Another thing I learned is, a robot must be perfectly programed to do what you would like it to do. Also, a robot can malfunction due to something done wrong with the programing. I would like to know if the robot will shut off after hitting an object hard.

What i learned today was that you could tell a robot what to do with out a computer but by changing the ways some wires are put by 90 degrees or even 180 degrees made the robot spin in circles. Also by pressing run the robot will instantly move forward without being controlled by a student. I always thought that to make robots do these things you would have to download something on your computer to make the robot move by its self. However by a touch of a button the robot will move forward.

Today I learned that the robot can do many things like turn, go straight, or backwards. It can do these things by pressing the program button. If it is on program 1 it goes straight if it is on program 2 it turns and so on. Another thing I learned about the robots is that you can change the ports and it will do something else. The last thing i learned is that the robot can be programmed with 5 slots which can also make it turn. What can make the robot know something or someone is in the way?

Today I learned how to use the RCX. i learned that the RCX has different ports. If I had switched the ports the robot would do something it wasn't programed to do. in program 1 the robot would move forward if I switched the ports the robot would move in circles. I also learned that the numbers on the screen are called program slots. this is the room the robot has for programs. In the robot there are 5 slots. The last thing I learned is that under the robot there is a motor connected to the ports it controls the way the robot moves. one question I have about the robot is how do you download programs into the robot?

I learned that the RCX has a program already in it (program 1). This program tells he robot to move forward. If you turn the wires the robot can not follow its program correctly.

Today I learned that the RCX robot is programmed to only move forward, and that if you move the wires in the wrong direction the robot will spin in a circle instead of moving the way you want it to. However, the robot displayed some questionable behavior when moving forward. I saw that the robot had a a sensor in the front of it, but the robot did not stop. I was wondering if the sensor was not working or if it was not required for this task. If someone could answer my question then I would deeply appreciate it.

I learned in RCX today that you can change the way the robot goes by switching around the wires, you can make it spin in circle and go different ways if the wires are not in its place. Comments are closed.
