Today we are basically programming our "gardener" robot. As you may know, it will harvest seeds (paper cut-outs) on soil. We are confused because every program we've made has failed so we are concerned about the time limit that we have for designing this robot. Also, some people make really bad programs on the same robot, so it makes us even more confused!!! Yes, we are very untalented in robotics. If you have some advice for us plz comment. :) -Marcy&Ally

Cool, how are you going to get the robot to plant the seeds? and where are you going to get the seeds?

While building our robot, we had hard time making the arm attachment steady, because it kept flipping over, and disconnecting from the actual robot, because it was flicking the arm up way too fast and hard. We reprogrammed the arm so that it was slower. However, at the moment, we can't get the arm to move... =(

Try attaching something else to the arm maybe... Not sure... Hmm good luck.

We adjusted the power level and the length of time, and now it works!!! =P

Sorry, I meant it was working. Do you mean like to flip and turn over again?

Good job figuring out how to make the arm attachment work.

sebastian was trying to use touch sensors. It wasn't working so sebastian called ms. clarke and she helped us. :) I was trying to make a shield for defense since stable parts weren't an option. Overall, an improvement from last class

We are going to make it push a heavy thing. We are not that good at robotics.

Our program is going pretty well now that we know how to raise the arm without the whole thing flipping it over. Next week we are going to use the light sensor or touch sensors in the program so that it knows when to turn when it meets a wall.

We changed what we were going to do. We wrote it on another blog.

today while I was building our block for our robot to push, fareeha was programming and down loading At first our robot would keep on turning in 360 degrees over and over again. Then we fixed our silly little mistake and it worked. YAY!!!!! ;-)
